Wd40, you need to lube your brain with wd40

You completely miss the point. It's not just the result, it's how we got the result that most of the critics are discussing

1-1 draw
like many clubs the weekend .

the world of West ham is falling a part
plus no new signings! oh just let me check.

get a grip you lot
TEAMS are not going to rill over & we will not win 4-0 every weekend

settled down

A point away from home is a positive, regardless of anything else. I thought for chunks of the game we looked decent enough. Looked good on the break. I also thought the players looked physically ready, fit and prepared, as opposed to last season. Paqueta had a great chance to win it at the death,

The negatives for me were that if you'd told me at on the last game of last season that our first game would basically be the same team minus Rice I would've called you mental. But there, you go, our team on Saturday, once again, laid bare what an absolute shower of shit this window has really been. Yes, we have new blood coming in but, once again, its all too late.

Moyes reverted to type and tried to block Bournemouth and sit on the goal. Always dangerous game. And it never worked. Moyes proves again he has no appetite to extend or build on a lead. And with no matchwinners coming off the bench left Moyes with very few options anyway, but then that is his responsibility too.

No disrespect to Bournemouth, but we are never going to progress if we keep going away to games like this and sitting on a lead and seemingly happy with a point.

Sulli: “ David, I really feel these are the sort of teams we need to be getting three points from , not beating these lower in the league teams could be the difference between 18th and 17th.”

Please don’t repeat…
Moyes wanted to win.
Was game plan to let their attacks improve at the end?
Not mentioned, but Zouma was terrible for their goal. I guess once has to be accepted, but can’t afford many more like that with our attack.

Antonio is slowing down, fairly clearly. Being able to bowl past people is critical to his game.

I love what he has done but we need a replacement.

Bowen? I would be okay with him there beside another striker in a real 352. Not sure if I like it otherwise.

We would need a different right wing back. And not sure if Moyes would commit to it.

ID, thankless task maybe, but he doesn't have to be unable to hold the ball, pass or engage with the rest of the team.
Or do you only rate him for doing a thankless task?

It’s unfair to judge any of our forward players when they are just feeding on scraps. Bowen did better than the others, but Antonio had a thankless task.

Antonio did OK...

You have any specific idea of what he did well? Was it
0 goals, 0 assists, 1 yellow card, 2 free kicks conceded, or general play between our 37% possession?

‘Ok’ & ‘pretty well’

Sums it up…..needs to be better comments for your main striker….sorry… converted winger….especially off the clubs we should expect to get all the points off….if we want to have a good season….

Even Bowen says what we were thinking...

“Ultimately in the end we invited the pressure a little too much and as players on the pitch we had to control the game when we’re 1-0 up, to take the ball and kill the game off.

I see. So Antonio's was the worst ever performance by a centre-forward and it was a diabolical decision to sub him off and replace him with Ings.

The things you learn on here.

I thought he played pretty well as a lone striker and sole outlet until he ran out of steam - but there you go. I actually thought most of the players were pretty good, although the gap between Aguerd and Emerson looked pretty iffy at times.

We drew because Moyes is a negative cunt who ordered 11 men behind the ball as soon as we went a goal up.

It was noticible that as soon as Bournemouth scored we were all over them again for five minutes until an apoplectic Moyes ordered all the players back behind the ball again.

Moyes is a cunt. If Sullivan had any sense he'd sack Moyes and pay him off his $5m. He could then trouser all the transfer income, because, frankly, under any other coach this squad would be nowhere near relegation.

If Antonio was trying to force a move he'd be putting on a show. I actually think he's just past it, simple as that. He should be an impact sub, bought on to run at a tired defence. As it is he's apparently the only player in the footballing world who can play striker in the Moyes set up.
